Polymer Science and Technology - MATPlast

The research group MATPlast of the Department of Engineering "Enzo Ferrari" is active in the field of science and technology of polymers.

Specific areas of interest are:

• chemical-physical and mechanical characterization of polymers (thermoplastic and thermoset materials) and polymer matrix composite materials

• design and development of innovative formulations of plastics (filled polymers and polymer blends)

• design and synthesis/modification of macromolecular structures for special applications
